Games & play-by-play

Add your schedule ahead of time, then track every play live on gameday.

Game tracker

Opening a game lands you on Game tracker — a live view of the current situation (possession, down & distance, field position), the current drive’s plays with the most recent on top, and the scoring log below that. It’s read-only; entering and editing plays still happens on the Play-by-play tab.

Adding a game

On the Games page, tap + Add and fill in the opponent, date, and whether you’re home or away. Games can be added any time — before or after they happen.

Already have the final score and box score but not full play-by-play? Use + Add game on the season Stats page instead — it finalizes the game right away and drops you into the stats editor to type team and player totals in directly, no plays required.

Entering plays

Open a game and log each play as it happens: the play type (run, pass, kick, punt, etc.), the players involved, and the result. The app tracks down, distance, and yard line for you as the drive moves, and suggests sensible defaults — like which players were on the field for the last play, or a PAT after a touchdown — so you spend less time tapping between snaps.

Forgot a play? Tap the + next to any play to insert a new one right after it — everything later shifts down automatically. If a play landed in the wrong drive, use Insert drive after or Move first/last play on the game screen to move it into place.

Finalizing a game

Once a game is complete, finalize it from its Stats tab. Finalizing freezes that game’s stats and permanently locks its plays — the frozen totals feed season and player stats. This can’t be undone, but if a number needs correcting afterward, admins can adjust it directly in that game’s stats editor.

Before that, the score tracks live next to the game but doesn’t show a win/loss letter — the app doesn’t call the result until you finalize.
