Installing the app
Youth Football Stats works right in your browser, but installing it gives you a home-screen icon, a faster launch, and full offline support for the sideline — no app store required.
📱 iPhone & iPad (Safari)
- Open football-stats.app in Safari (it must be Safari, not Chrome, for this to work on iOS).
- Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up) in the toolbar.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Confirm the name and tap Add in the top-right corner.
A new icon appears on your home screen. Opening it launches the app full-screen, without Safari’s address bar.
🤖 Android (Chrome)
- Open football-stats.app in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
- Tap Install app (or Add to Home screen on some versions).
- Confirm by tapping Install.
Chrome may also show an install banner or an install icon in the address bar — either one does the same thing.
💻 Desktop (Chrome or Edge)
- Open football-stats.app in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon in the address bar (it looks like a small monitor with a down arrow), or open the ⋮ menu and choose Install Youth Football Stats…
- Click Install in the prompt.
The app opens in its own window, separate from your browser tabs.
Why install it?
- Works with no signal. Plays you enter offline are saved on your device and sync automatically once you’re back online.
- One tap to open. No browser, no typing the address — just tap the icon.
- No app store. It updates itself in the background, same as any web page.
