Roster & seasons
Players belong to a season, so you can track a team across many years without mixing up rosters.
Creating a season
Admins can create a season from the Roster page, the Games page, or Team settings — tap + New season, give it a name like “2026 Fall”, and it becomes the active season.
Adding players one at a time
On the Roster page, tap + Add and enter a jersey number and name. Players carry forward automatically when you enter plays in later games, so you won’t need to re-select them from scratch each week.
Uploading a roster
Tap Upload and choose an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. You’ll be asked to match your file’s columns to jersey number and name (a status column for active/inactive players is optional) before the players are added — this makes it easy to bring in a roster from a league registration export.
Viewer access
Team members with viewer access can see the roster but can’t add, edit, or upload players — only admins can.
